“Slowly, we walk the planes between this world and the next. With each movement, we add to both worlds – helping to heal the trauma, releasing the past and creating the magnificent future.
We are never seen, we are never heard. For that is our role – we are the silent walkers, we are the quiet healers. United we serve a role that by far is greater than us, yet we do so in solitude.
Never be fooled by our size, our bulkiness or cumbersomeness. For we show tender love in the most simplest of ways. Our touch can be softer than that of a feather’s, our breath more soothing than the oceans breeze. Like our heart, just so is the size of our love for humankind on the planet we cultivate.
Bestowed with great patience and time – we watch as history unfolds. We hardly interfere, for that is not our place – we assist the lil’ ones, as they are the most hurt by your actions. We are their keepers, their protects and we shall not allow them to be hurt any more than what they have been already.
If you see us walking, through valleys, planes, streams or forests – call to us. We will come to you, and show you our love. We are simple creatures, for we are not like the High Elves with their books and knowledge. But he hold great power in our size, and great love in our hearts.
We are the silent walkers – the silent keepers of the realms. Call for our guidance, ask for our help.
We are never far.
We are the silent ones”
My own experience with Giants is rather limited, as they are very solitary and private creatures. I have seen them walking the planes however, on many occasions. Due to my elemental nature, they are always interested in me and will always come round to have a look.
They would always come and peer over the top of a hill, lines of curiosity painted on their faces, then greeted by a smile that can make any human heart melt.
They carry an immense presence about them, not of ego, of knowledge or fame. But of simple thoughts and simple love. They are not the brightest star in the heavens, yet they love so purely, so honestly – that is something we should all learn.
I ask of you, not to seek them out, but rather if you happen to chance upon one – to yes call out to them.
It’s an experience that words cannot formulate, to be in the company of a creature that wondrous. And, if they take a shining to you – be prepared for an adventure you will never forget. They are pure children at heart, with the innocence that go with it.
With honor is servitude
