If tomorrow never came would you live this moment any differently?
If you knew your life could be irreversibly changed, be moved in many different ways – would you take the plunge towards that which could be your only salvation, to the place where you are whole and you are in control of your own destiny once more.
Murmurs in the silence of the echoes of your thoughts – there they whisper to you now. But once again, with societies lure – we banish such thoughts for their roots are embedded in obscure dreams of reality.
What is truth?
What is normality?
Who am I – who was I – who will I become?
No one can answer those – for they have not treaded in your path.
Step for step, across planes of solitude and barren hardness, empty and despair. You have carried a burden from the sun to the moon and yet you continue to walk –
“Where to, I ask, do you carry such pain?”
You turn to me and only a wisp of a tear shows me you wish you could say.
Slowly you turn to walk away but I ask of you to stop. I wish of you to take your burden, and bring it to me now. Unlatch the thousand locks, now rusted together by the tears that you have shed over them.
I wish of you to look at it, stare at that which you have carried for so long – say that you have no mastery over me and that you should be gone. Return once more back from whence you were given; return to them the gift that they have imparted onto you – for you have learned.
Acknowledged now is the hardship, the sadness and the pain. A coal has been moulded into brilliance of diamonds’ beauty, not that of shame. Let joy wash over you, for you have persevered and been set free – but only by you wishing it to be so.
Hear the call – the plea – the sirens beacon to you now
Never again shall the time be more perfect for you to release this now. You only merely have to look and say:
“I see you.
I thank you – for I have learned.
And now I return you to where you came from”
Don’t wait for tomorrow – it might never come.
And tomorrow will be different, every day will be from then.
There is no burden to carry, there’s no pain to drag you down.
Only open air and wings to carry you forth back, into, the sun.
